Domestic and International Shipping Service:

Box Brothers provides a shipping service for shipments as small as one piece or as large as an entire household.  We specialize in packaging and shipping furniture, computers, artwork, and antiques.  In 1989, Box Brothers pioneered the shipping service option for customers needing to move small shipments either domestically or internationally.  We provide a convenient, safe, and cost effective alternative to using a full service moving company or renting a truck for small or large shipments.  With over 35 locations nationwide, Box Brothers is a company you can trust to move your personal effects.

Low Weight Minimums:

Box Brothers has very low weight minimums.  Full service moving companies will often have a 1,000 LB to 1,500 LB minimum weight requirement for moving personal effects.  Box Brothers provides free pick up with a weight minimum as low as 300 LBS to 500 LBS.  Why pay for extra weight you don't have?  In fact, customers can bring in their items to our store and get the minimum down to just 150 LBS.

Reduced Shipping Rates:

Box Brothers uses the same carriers that ship new furniture for the major furniture manufacturers.  We recently negotiated major rate reductions with our carriers based on the volume of shipping Box Brothers does with them nationwide.  We are now able to provide lower shipping rates to our customers.

Safer Method of Shipping Furniture and Personal Effects:

Our research has indicated that Box Brothers shipping service has a much lower claim ratio than either full service moving companies or truck rental options.  We are very proud of our successful track record for damage free moves.  The primary reason we have such a low claim ratio is because of our exclusive custom packaging for furniture and personal effects.  All of the customer's items are professionally packaged to exceed the manufacturers packaging.  Box Brothers uses bubble-wrap and Styrofoam sheet protection as well as double walled corrugated boxes to protect any breakable item.  Box Brothers will then further protect the items by consolidating all the items unto one or more pallets.  Each box is placed on the pallet with the proper end facing up and the heavier ones on the bottom to allow for ideal weight distribution.  The boxes are then "shrink-wrapped" with thick plastic film and then secured with steel strapping, virtually eliminating any potential for movement while in transit.

Insurance and Tracking Available:

A variety of insurance options are available at very affordable rates.  Every shipment is given a tracking number, which enables Box Brothers to provide our customers with any information regarding their shipment at any point during the shipping process.

Guaranteed Pick Up Times and Quicker Delivery Times:

Box Brothers will pick up your personal effects free and give you a two-hour time spread.  This enables our customers to plan the rest of their busy day without having to be available all day for a pick up.  Box Brothers needs only a few days notice to pick up a shipment and often we provide same-day emergency pick ups.  Box Brothers shipping service offers very quick delivery times to all over the United States.  East Coast deliveries take only 7 to 10 days.

Box Brothers offers many service options.  We provide two free weeks of storage on all of our shipments with long-term storage subject to availability.  Box Brothers can provide additional destination services such as inside delivery.

Convenient Payment Options Available:

Box Brothers accepts credit cards, checks, and cash as means of payment.  We also accept 3rd party credit card payments for customers paying from out of state.

No Surprises!!!

Box Brothers will weigh your shipment with a portable scale at the time of pick up.  This enables us to determine all the charges for the shipment at the time of pick up.  Therefore, since all the charges are determined at the time of pick up, there will not be any surprises on the other end.  Also, the customer has the ability to add or delete items from the shipment to keep to a weight total that matches what they have budgeted for their move.
